RUTH - STUDIO READING

We just completed a studio reading of Ruth, in development with writer Rachael Worthington. We are in pre-production stages and will be bringing this film to life next year. Please contact us to become a supporter of this stunning story about a woman who was a Pack Horse Librarian, her calling to deliver books in the rugged terrain of Kentucky Appalachia and keep education afloat during a the Great Depression. A wild story based in the historical context of the WPA and Eleanor Roosevelt’s call to action for women in this region of the South.

I am BEYOND honored to have received the Fearless Female Filmmaker Award award from the Coronado Island Film Festival. Alongside my Producer, Lisa Donmall-Reeve, we accepted the award in November and couldn’t think of a better honor for our film Double Exposure.

7 months pregnant during our filming week in NYC, I had an amazing assistant in my soon-to-be daughter who kept me company during the all night shoots and grounded throughout the entire process. What a cool way to honor her, and the women that came before me in my family, all paving the way to continue to create + inspire other women to do the same.

We also have to thank our leading lady Krysta Rodriguez - the epitome of fearless woman, who brought Dani’s story to life in our film.

I seek to continue to create works focusing on women, from the female point of view + experience.

Double Exposure - Filming Wrapped!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for being a part of making the filming of Double Exposure possible! I am very grateful for your support and contributions over the past few months.
We wrapped our official film week in November, with a successful four day shoot in Brooklyn and NYC.  It was an honor to direct this all star cast and work with this incredible team of creatives and fantastic crew.

We are in the trenches of making this beautiful short film - Double Exposure - come to life and in so, realizing it is nearly impossible without the support of friends and family.  With a female driven story and perspective, as well as director/writer/producer team, we are working to get our voice out in the world.
